Princely Reform Bill:
The following Bill concerns the reform and restylisation of the Beaconite Empire into the Principality of Beacon City and its Associated Dominions and Wards, including the full renaming of current bodies. This Bill additionally contains constitutional amendments (specified), meaning that it must be passed with a majority of two-thirds.
The following Bill concerns the reform and restylisation of the Beaconite Empire into the Principality of Beacon City and its Associated Dominions and Wards, including the full renaming of current bodies. This Bill additionally contains constitutional amendments (specified), meaning that it must be passed with a majority of two-thirds.
- The Beaconite Empire will henceforth be known as the Principality of Beacon City and its Associated Dominions and Wards. Any Acts, Decrees, and articles of the Beaconite Constitution in effect that make reference to the Beaconite Empire, including Article XXXV of the Constitution, will be amended accordingly.
- The Beaconite Emperor will henceforth be known as the Prince of Beacon City, or for a female the Princess of Beacon City. Any Acts, Decrees, and articles of the Beaconite Constitution in effect that make reference to the Beaconite Emperor, including Section I of the Constitution, will be amended accordingly.
- The Beaconite Crown Prince will henceforth be known as the Hereditary Prince of Beacon City, or for a female the Hereditary Princess of Beacon City. Any Acts, Decrees, and articles of the Beaconite Constitution in effect that make reference to the Beaconite Crown Prince, including Section I of the Constitution, will be amended accordingly.
- The Imperial Throne will henceforth be known as the Princely Throne. Any Acts, Decrees, and articles of the Beaconite Constitution in effect that make reference to the Imperial Throne, including Section I of the Constitution, will be amended accordingly.
- The Beaconite Imperial Assembly will henceforth be known as the Beaconite Municipal Assembly. Any Acts, Decrees, and articles of the Beaconite Constitution in effect that make reference to the Beaconite Imperial Assembly, including Section II of the Constitution, will be amended accordingly.
- Any other references to the Empire or something Imperial will henceforth be known as the Principality or something Municipal. Any Acts, Decrees, and articles of the Beaconite Constitution in effect that make reference to the something Imperial will be amended accordingly.
- The President of the Imperial Assembly will henceforth be known as the Chief Minister of Beacon City. Any Acts, Decrees, and articles of the Beaconite Constitution in effect that make reference to the President of the Beaconite Imperial Assembly, including Section II of the Constitution, will be amended accordingly. In addition, the election for the Chief Minister will only require an election on a simple majority, rather than a supermajority.
