Will formalise the succession of the Lords of Mercia, providing an aristocratic elective diarchal system. The Bill will also enshrine male-only succession into Mercian law.
It is the duty of the Lords of Mercia to choose an heir to their thrones before the time of the respective Lord’s death or abdication.
The heirs to the thrones of Mercia will be known as ‘the Prince Materium’ for heirs to the Lord Temporal, and ‘the Prince Immaterium’ for heirs to the Lord Spiritual.
The Prince Materium may not claim the throne of the Lord Spiritual, nor may the Prince Immaterium lay claim to the throne of the Lord Temporal.
The Prince Materium and the Prince Immaterium must both be biologically male.
