Under this motion, I propose the following laws:
1: The Theodorist Regional Dominion of Burnham and its Land shall adopt the Metric system in matters of the measurement of volume, weight and mass, whereas in matters of the measurement of length, width and so forth shall be done in the current Imperial system.
2: Alcohol in the TRDB&L Home Territories shall be limited to 1 litre (1000 millilitres) per individual. If the quantity of Alcohol per individual exceeds this, excess Alcohol will be seized by the Soviet Authority and disposed of in what methods that please them. Depending on the reaction of the offending individuals, further action will vary from a warning to the offending individuals, to prosecution by the Civil Service Gorsedh (CSG).
3: Tobacco and Cannabis in the TRDB&L Home Territories are to be limited to 10 milligrams per individual. If the quantity of Tobacco and/or Cannabis per individual exceeds this, excess Tobacco and Cannabis will be seized by the Soviet Authority and disposed of in a method that does not involve consumption. It must be noted that this does not include Hemp seeds, nor does it include the equipment or associated accessories involved in the consumption of Tobacco or Cannabis. Depending on the reaction of the offending individuals, further action will vary from a warning to the offending individuals, to prosecution by the Civil Service Gorsedh.
4: Methamphetamine (Meth), Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), Benzoylmethylecgonine (Cocaine), Anabolic Steroids, and hallucinogenics including Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) are banned within the TRDB&L Home Territories. Any individual caught in possession of any of the aforementioned substances will be subject to prosecution by the Civil Service Gorsedh. The substances that were possessed by the offending individuals will be destroyed and disposed of in a method that does not involve consumption.
5: Other substances not covered by the above laws are considered to be prohibited until such times as when they are legalised. Citizens are reminded that they may make full use of Article 19 of the Burnham Constitution, which gives them their right of petition, to petition the Supreme Soviet Gorsedh the the legalisation of substances.
6: It must be noted that these laws do not account for medical substances prescribed by Macronational or Micronational hospitals or pharmacies. Caution is advised when using medical substances.
I Support this motion.
